What type of vehicle is picking me up?
Our vans are 12 passenger tourism vans with full INS (National Insurance Institute) coverage, air conditioning and roof racks.

Can I travel with my pet?
We only take pets in private services. A pet cage is required. Please let us know if you need to travel with pets in your reservation.

What should I do if I missed my connecting flight or my flight was delayed?
Contact us via e-mail or phone call as soon as you know you have missed your connecting flight.

How long is the Nosara-LIR Airport drive?
Average time is 2.5 hrs or less, depending on traffic and the state or our roads, especially during the rainy season. Travelers are required to check-in at their respective airline counters a minimum of 2 hrs. ahead of their flight, so you should plan to leave 4.5 hrs ahead of your scheduled departure.

How will I find you at the airport?
Our representative will be at the airport, out of customs expecting you with a sign with your name and Nosara Happy Cab logo on it. He will be looking for you as you exit.

Where do I get picked up?
We will pick you up at your Hotel, house or airport and we will take you direct to your destination.

Can we make stops on the way?
Very quick stops to use restrooms or buy snacks are allowed in shared services, your travel companions may have earlier flights, therefore please make sure stops are 5 minutes or less!

Private services can stop at any point along the way, and it is always helpful if our drivers know this ahead of time.

I’m hosting an event and need transportation for larger groups, multiple trips, or transfers to and from other destinations. Can we use your services?
Yes! We can assist with anything from multiple shuttle and private cab services, as well as transfers to any location in the country. Contact us with travel details to receive a quote.

When should I reserve my transfer?
Nosara Happy Cab has a 24 hr. Reservation Policy to ensure that a vehicle will be available to you on the date requested, as well as a written confirmation with their transfer details. Because we answer requests on a first come first serve basis and need to confirm your reservation directly, we ask that you submit your request a minimum of 24 hrs. prior your your travel date.

How can I pay?
Transports are payable direct to the driver in cash or credit card.

Will you wait me if my plane is delayed?
We always check the flight status out in order to know what time will the planes land, however if you are stuck inside the airport, try to let us know outside the gate, our phone numbers and email are always available. This will help us arrange for a longer wait until you are ready to leave.
